Why Hatling Law Office?

John Hatling graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1985.  He spent one year in St. Paul working as a law clerk (research and legal writing) for Judge Gary L. Crippen.  He returned to his home town of Fergus Falls in 1986, where he has been engaged in the private practice of law ever since. 

John has served as a public defender (felony, gross misdemeanor, and misdemeanor) and a child support magistrate.  He has served his community on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce and the Center for the Arts.  He is also past president of the local Kiwanis Club.
